Dynex SUCKS !
I bought a DXCR6N1 card reader, came with a Mini CD for the drivers, I have a Mac Book Pro. the disk will not work in this type of laptop. it will only take regular CD's.

I tried to get a down load on line, NO luck... so I called Dynex.
they have a customer support line 1-800-305-2204. the woman who answered could barely speak English. She had No idea !, what to do.

Mac handles webcams differently than any version of windows when it comes to drivers and software. The easiest way to get a webcam working on mac is actually to use the vision cam made for the xbox360 http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Live-Vision-Camera/dp/B000GCGB3M

It works without having to install any kind of software or drivers. The only downside is that the xbox live vision cam does not have auto focus and you will have to manually adjust the little green ring on the cam till you get the desired picture quality.

Good luck,
Bob T.

I bought a 26 inch Dynex television less than a year ago and it has stopped working. I have not been able to watch my t.v for days. Not to mention the product had been discontinued. I will never in my entire life buy another Dynex product. I spent my money and now I have nothing to show for it but a broken piece of merchandise that I can no linger use. Thank You Dynwx

Does Firefox support Rosetta? I have no idea what you are talking about with this. Though I am having huge amounts of problems. I have a Mac Powerbook 10.5.8 and a Dynex DX WEB1C

I'm having the same problem, but with Gmail. Is there something I need to do to get my DX WEB1C to work with Gmail? I think it works with Skype, and I make sure to turn Skype off when i'm trying to get it to work with Gmail. Still no luck, though.

Hi. Restart of my PowerBook running OS X 10.5.8 allowed Skype to recognize the Dynex DX-DTCAM. As suggested above, I first installed the Mac driver via http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-459-25-dynex-desktop-web-camera.aspx . After install and restart, I checked for the camera under Skype/Preferences/Video - Camera. Hope it works for you. Cheers.
